Our Mission

The Proper Pet Care team have the best job in the world, so we're dedicated to paying our great fortune forward.

We found out some charities are 10-100x more cost-effective than the average. By donating to the most efficient charities, we have improved thousands of lives.

So far, we have donated 10-20% of our profits to the charities highlighted by independent evaluators such as AnimalCharityEvaluators.org, GiveWell.org, or TheLifeYouCanSave.org.

However, we also love hearing from clients and staff about the causes they care about. Those conversations help shape our giving and here are some examples of the charities we have supported so far:
